Deze journalist van Buzzfeed besloot 30 dagen suiker op te geven om te zien wat er gebeurde. Spoiler alert: veel.

Arielle was verslaafd aan suiker en wist dat er iets moest veranderen. Voor een artikel besloot ze daarom 30 dagen lang geen suiker te eten om te kijken wat het effect zou zijn op haar lichaam en gemoedstoestand. Zo at ze niks waar toegevoegde suikers in zat en liet ze onder andere de honing, siroop en zoete snacks links liggen. Ze voelde zich gezonder Γ©n het verschil tussen voor en na is overduidelijk.

My 30-day sugar detox BuzzFeed post is coming soon, but in the meantime, here's a sneak peek! I didn't weigh myself (I'm only weighing myself once a month now for mental wellness), but I did lose three inches from my waist. However, I had binged the week leading up to it, so I was extra bloated and those results might be flawed. But the most recognizable difference is my smile! I legitimately felt so much better afterwards, it was very eye-opening. Ze had erna veel meer energie, minder hoofdpijn, betere workouts, minder trek in snacks Γ©n ze verloor er gewicht van. Naast dat ze zich lichamelijk een stuk beter voelde, bespaarde ze er ook nog eens 50 dollar per week (!) mee. Bovendien ziet haar dieet van de maand er helemaal niet zo vervelend uit. Misschien gaan we het zelf ook maar eens proberen…

Guys, sugar is literally in everything! Ugh. I'm going to have to pretty much always make my own dressing.
