nep-before-after

“Nobody’s booty looks round and peachy from all angles,” schrijft ze. Met hashtags als #bodyconfidence, #bekindtoyourself en #progressnotperfection wil ze laten zien dat schoonheid begint met aardig zijn voor jezelf en je lichaam.

Nep before & afters

Instagram vs reality ?? I Haven’t worked out consistently for almost 2 months. I had exams and have been on holiday for a month now and just haven’t gotten back into my routine of working out and that’s okay!! I’ve been eating ‘unhealthy’ food everyday because I don’t have access to this kind of food at home, but I have no regrets. Don’t stress yourself out by forcing yourself to eat clean and workout everyday if it doesn’t make you happy. Don’t stress about not having abs or not having your body looking “perfect”, because it’ll just cause you unnecessary stress and unhappiness. Eat what makes you happy and do what makes you feel like you’re living your life to the fullest!! Because life is shorter than we realise. We all have body fat and it’s completely normal! Don’t hate your body and let that ruin your time whether you’re on holiday or not. Don’t stress about how you look in a bikini or any other clothes. We are our own worst critic, and people don’t care about the way you look nearly as much as you think they do. Looks aren’t everything!! You are lovely and amazing the way you are and you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself!!! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #bodypositive #nobodyshame #loveyourbody #selfesteem #selfacceptance #stopcomparing #thankyourbody #youareworthit #youareunique

Healthy vs unhealthy? ? One isn’t healthier than the other, these photos were taken a few seconds apart. Abs do not equate to health. Abs are not a measure of how healthy or fit you are. You don’t need them to see yourself as being ‘more worthy’! When I started working out I thought having abs would make me feel more worthy and that they were permanent. I was wrong. Having abs doesn’t change the way I feel about myself. I let myself become obsessed with a silly thing like abs!! I would get upset and thought others who have abs have them 24/7, but they only really show up when you flex and workout constantly. I’m not gonna walk around flexing my tummy 24/7 just to have abs!! But there’s nothing wrong with not having abs! For some they develop quickly and for others they don’t! They don’t change your life suddenly and you won’t suddenly have all your insecurities fade when you get abs. Don’t obsess over something like abs because they do not change you as a person, having them doesn’t make you a better person. You are amazing the way you are, regardless of how you look. Remember that!! Love your body for the things it can do rather than focusing on the way it looks ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #workoutmotivation #realtalk #bodypositive #abworkouts #loveyourself #youareamazing #youareworthy #allbodiesaregoodbodies #effyourbeautystandards #stopcomparing

Comfortable in your skin ? It’s easy to scroll through social media and assume that everyone has smooth, ‘perfect’ skin. But that isn’t reality. I personally have bumps, cellulite and scars!! These aren’t things I want to get rid of anymore, they are a part of me and there is nothing wrong with them!! Don’t be ashamed of having cellulite or uneven skin!! It doesn’t change who you are as a person! I used to feel insecure about these things until I started realizing that nobody has 100% smooth skin. It’s all about what people choose to portray on social media and majority of models are photoshopped to hide these things. Start accepting and loving these things rather than hating your body and spending hundreds of dollars on remedies that don’t work. There is nothing wrong with them. It’s unrealistic to expect yourself to have porcelain smooth skin, we are humans, not dolls. These things show that we have lived and that we are alive! These things don’t change your intelligence, compassion or strength. You are an amazing person no matter how you look!! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #cellulite #skinproblems #insecurities #selflove #flawsandall #selfesteem #embraceyourself

Bikini bodies ?? On the left I'm sucking in, flexing and posing. On the right I'm relaxing my body (how I would normally look in a bikini)!! Don't be scared to wear a bikini because your body isn't similar to bikini models seen on media. Those models don't even look like that in reality because of photoshop, posing and flexing!! Don't obsess about losing weight and getting fit just for a holiday, or so you can take photos in a bikini. It will drive you crazy, trust me, I know, I've done it plenty of times. It just ends up with annoyance and disappointment when you see "unflattering" photos and it feels like your work never 'paid off'. We all come in different shapes and sizes. We are our own worst critics. We always think people are judging us as hard as we are judging ourselves. But that is not true, so don't be hard on yourself!! Go out there and have fun in your bikini rather than constantly worrying about how you look in it! You are absolutely amazing no matter what you wear or how you look!! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #bikinibody #bodypositive #insecurity #youareabadass #believeinyou #youcandothis #bodylove #bodyimage

Tummy fat ? I posted a similar photo a few weeks ago but I wanted to post a sitting down version! I know many people think that if you have a flat tummy standing up, you'll have a flat tummy sitting down. But that's not the case!! I always thought if I got fit and had abs I would magically always have abs. But in reality that isn't true at all. We all have tummy fat!! And that's completely fine! It doesn't make you "ugly" or "unhealthy". This fat is vital in protecting our organs! You don't need to have a flat tummy 24/7 to be considered "beautiful", you are beautiful in your own way and you don't need to obsess over something like a flat tummy!! Because at the end of the day having a flat tummy doesn't change you as a person. You are wonderful as you are now! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #loveyourbody #youarebeautiful #bodypositive #lawofattraction #spreadlove #lifelessons #stopcomparing #youaregoodenough

Instagram vs reality ??‍♀️? It's odd how much we seek approval from others, getting validation from compliments and likes. Even today I looked at the photo on the left and thought to myself that's not "Instagram worthy" enough for this post because my face looks weird and I have a skin roll ? But that just goes to show the amount of pressure we put on ourselves to seem perfect!! But we don't need to! These are normal things and we don't look the same in all our photos! You shouldn't need a 'perfect' 'instagrammable' photo of yourself to love yourself. You shouldn't let the amount of likes you get, dictate how you feel about yourself. We all look different and those differences make you, you!! Nobody looks the same 24/7 in all their photos so don't be hard on yourself trying to look like everyone you see on social media!! Love your uniqueness because it's amazing and makes you the lovely person that you are!! ?☀️ PS I'm sorry if you're getting bored of these, I love posting them and many people love them so I'm not gonna stop ?? —————————————— . . . #thankyourbody #bodypositive #bodyconfidence #nobodyshame #reality #selfesteem #selfacceptance #lawofattraction #youareworthit #youareunique #insecurities #healthyhabits #loveyourbody #effyourbeautystandards

Insecurity ? I put on a bikini just for the purpose of taking photos for Instagram, on the left I almost cracked my back out of place from trying to bend it and pulled my butt cheeks up one by one to make them appear bigger. And on the right I am just relaxing my body. ? I had scoliosis surgery and therefore cannot bend my back like most people can due to the titanium in my spine. I had always been horribly self conscious about my back having no curves and appearing wide when I sit relaxed. I've posted about it before and would get insecure/jealous when I saw images of people with curvy bodies. I thought they looked like this 24/7 from behind. I would get so upset because I knew I could not look like that all the time. But the truth is, nobody does. A picture is just a split second. We all look different from different angles. But all these angles are still our bodies. We are equally worthy in all our photos. I am no longer insecure about the way my body looks on the right because I know nobody looks like the photo on the right all the time. That's my body and I should not be ashamed of it!! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #bodypositive #alsome #mybody #notashamed #loveyourbody #selfconfidence #beyourself #glutes #begrateful #selflove #bewhoyouare #bootygoals

Instagram vs reality ??‍♀️? Coming at you with another Instagram vs reality ? Don't strive for perfection or try and look perfect for things like Instagram photos. Because perfection doesn't exist. Someone will always have something bad to say, wether that's yourself or someone else. Being 100% honest, when I took these photos I even thought to myself my butt should be bigger. Why? Because I was thinking about all the amazing pictures I see on social media all day. But I realised that I was being silly and there is nothing wrong with my bum, tummy or anything!! I still sometimes fall into comparison but what has changed now is that I don't stay in it because I know my body is just as worthy as anyone else's. So is yours. I'm happy with my body in both photos and it shouldn't matter how you look on Instagram or in reality. Because what really matters is if you're a decent human. So don't be too hard on yourself about your looks, you are amazing the way you are ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #bodypositive #bodyconfidence #nobodyshame #effyourbeautystandards #loveyourbody #healthyhabits #selfesteem #selfacceptance #lawofattraction #thankyourbody #youareworthit #youareunique #flaws #insecurities #reality

Tummy fat ? When I used to sit down I would attempt to suck in my tummy and appear as lean as I could to avoid looking bigger. But why did I bother?? Everybody's fat gathers into one place when they sit. It's very normal. Some people have fat rolls and others don't. This does not make you any less of a person. It makes you a person with a body that does body things. I personally don't have fat rolls because my back does not physically bend due to the titanium in my spine, instead it gathers into one little lump and just chills there ☺️ Do not stress about these things. Don't feel like you need to suck in your tummy constantly while you sit. Do not let things like this make you feel like you need to crash diet and exercise excessively. Because it's not necessary. You can be the fit and gym everyday and still have fat, you need that fat. It's normal. Nobody has 0% body fat!!! So please don't stress about it. Sometimes when I look down while sitting in a bikini, the bikini bottom almost disappears as my tummy covers it. This. Is. Fine. There are more important things to worry about. You are beautiful the way you are and don't need to change yourself. Stay the wonderful person that you are!! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #bodyfat #bodyconfidence #nobodyshame #effyourbeautystandards #loveyourbody #healthyhabits #loveyourbody #selfesteem #selfacceptance #lawofattraction #thankyourbody #youareworthit #youareunique #flaws #insecurities #bodypositive #flexing #sitting

Clothing size ?? I noticed that I have so many different sized clothing and we give clothing size so much importance lately and it's weird. Clothing sizes have the ability to make us feel bad about ourselves when we've gone up a size and feel good when we've gone down a size. Why is this a thing ??‍♀️ before I used to always wear a European (EU/EUR) size 34 and once I started putting on weight and started strength training I've gone up to a EU pants size 38. I remember the first time I had to buy a size 38, I felt so upset. I let that size define me and thought that going up a size made me less attractive ??‍♀️ But I've realised that it actually doesn't matter at all. I shouldn't let these things upset me and I should wear clothing that fits me and makes me feel comfortable. There's no point squeezing and not being able to breathe in a smaller size just to say I wear that size. I've noticed that different materials on clothing will fit differently regardless of size, as you can see in this picture. Don't let clothing sizes dictate how you feel because they do not define you in any type of way!!! We all have different body shapes, so wear whatever you want that makes you feel comfortable and happy! Ignore all the things in media that say drop X amount of dress sizes in X amount of weeks, because they're silly. Just because someone wears a smaller size than you doesn't make them a better person or a more beautiful person. Clothing size doesn't define you. You are beautiful no matter what size you wear! ?☀️ —————————————— . . . #sizes #wearwhatyoulike #wearwhatyoulove #allbodiesaregoodbodies #bodypositive #selfworth #youareworthy #youareenough #youarebeautiful #youarenotalone #bodylove #bodylove4all #allbodiesarebeautiful #bodyacceptance #effyourbeautystandards #clothingsize #effyourbodystandards #nobodyshame #selflove #loveyourbody #gratitude #lawofattraction #loa #selfawareness #personalgrowth
