Deze ontwerpers van Amsterdam Fashion Week moet je in de gaten houden

Fashion Week is wereldwijd vol aan de gang en ook in Amsterdam is het weer bijna zover. Begin deze maand werden de eerste namen van het programma van Amsterdam Fashion Week bekendgemaakt. Wij namen ze even onder de loep en zetten een aantal prachtige namen op een rijtje.

Programma Amsterdam Fashion Week 2019

Inmiddels zijn de eerste ontwerpers in het programma van Amsterdam Fashion Week 2019 bekendgemaakt. Wat vooral opvalt aan deze eerste namen, is dat street style een groot onderwerp belooft te worden. Hieronder vind je de eerste ontwerpers die hun collecties zullen tonen tijdens Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Amsterdam Fashion Week Studio

Het komt niet compleet als verrassing dat we zoveel street style terugzien in deze eerste selectie van ontwerpers. Dit jaar is het namelijk voor het eerst dat AFW Studio in het leven is geroepen. Studio is een nieuwe focus binnen het evenement, waarbij de focus naast mode komt te liggen op fotografie, kunst en design.

Danie Bles, organisator van AFW Studio zet zich in voor diversiteit in de mode-industrie en binnen Amsterdam Fashion Week. “Ik ben zelf ook iemand die enorm van afwisseling houdt, ik wil zowel mijzelf als anderen blijven verrassen. Door twee concepten aan te houden is er de vrijheid om in te spelen op wat actueel is. Overkoepelend doel voor beide edities blijft om de relevantie op te zoeken en zo mode dichter bij het publiek te brengen,” aldus Bles.
