Mathilde voelde zich altijd best op haar gemak in haar lichaam: ze had altijd al overgewicht, ze was een groot voorstander van body positivity, had een leuke vriendengroep en werd nooit gepest.

Toch waren er dingen waar ze zich aan stoorde: ze kon haar vriendinnen nooit bijhouden, raakte snel uitgeput en voelde zich daardoor gevangen in haar eigen lichaam.

Toen ze in een pretpark de achtbaan niet in mocht omdat ze te zwaar was, was het genoeg: ze wilde nu echt iets aan haar gewicht gaan doen. Met een steng regime van trainingen en gezonde voeding halveerde ze bijna haar gewicht. Mathilde’s ultieme tip? Eet met een kleinere lepel, bijvoorbeeld een dessert- of theelepel. Daardoor eet je langzamer en kan je lichaam je sneller doorgeven dat je vol zit.

Inmiddels is Mathilde zelf personal trainer en heeft ze een Instagram-account vol met fit-inspiratie. You go, girl!

Successful weightloss? _ Went from 120kg (268lbs) to 57kg (125lbs) and now I’m 67 (139lbs). 2012 vs 2016 _ Stay focused, stop making excuses, stop eating junk, take one day at a time, remember that everything counts. _ It’s mostly about the food you eat. Going to the gym wouldn’t be the only thing you have to do. The truth is its 90% about the food and 10% about exercising! _ If you’re not losing weight you’re eating too much. It’s simple as that! Never quit or give up! 2011 vs 2016 – Lost 140 lbs/63kilo on my own READ BELOW _ You have to make small goals for yourself. Take one day at a time, don’t give up and you’ll see the results after a short time as long as you remember NOT to give up or “fall in” ๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ If you truly want to lose weight you’ll be able to stay focused and determined ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ You just gotta stay strong and don’t look back! _ Ask yourself: “What if I lost 1 lbs every 10th day or every week? Where will I be in one year if I start today?” _ By telling myself that I stayed motivated – So don’t quit because “you think it doesn’t matter anyways…” _ Stay focused and remember your goals – they’re not that far away if only you keep pushing! _ How I started was basically just from one day to another – I had enough! So that must have been what kept me going. Do you want to make a transformation like this one day? You just have to stop making excuses for yourself and stay focused ๐Ÿ† Oh… And keep striking bad poses ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿป haha _ Do you wanna struggle the life you’re living now? Or struggle for at better one? All it takes is to reduce your food intake (calories) and become much more active โ˜๐Ÿผ๏ธ Take notes! _ I would recommend you to eat around 1500 kcal every day with high focus on protein (2g pr kg/bodyweight) – If you’re 80kg you need to consume 160g proteins. I always eat protein-stuff if I have cravings โ˜๐Ÿผ๏ธ Eat 50g of fat (avocado, nuts, cheese…..) stay healthy with your fat!! Very important Avoid pasta and bread at any time. It worked for me + I’m not good with gluten anywayyyysss. Try to stay away from carbs in the first 6 weeks and slowly add A LITTLE carbs to your diet (rice, potatoes….) Just eat the good complex carbs and nutritious carbs. _ And most important YOUR SERVING SIZE. Eat ONE small serving pr meal. Eat slowly. _ Focus around your veggies ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŒฝ: Broccoli, kale, cauliflower, carrots, sprouts, cabbage …. _ Proteins: Lean meat, chicken, turkey, salmon, white fish, lean pork meat ๐Ÿท๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿ” but also: Nuts, eggs, Greek yogurt, cheese (low fat), cottage cheese, veggies, seeds, beans ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿณ… _ Get UP and become ACTIVE! You don’t need to go the gym to shred a lot of pounds off.. Be active – dance around, walk a lot(!!), go for a swim, ride your bike. Just get up ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ And never look back, just keep on living! _ You can achieve this if you really really want it. I had enough of that lifestyle and the way I felt trapped in my own body to live the life I wanted. And I just kept fighting and I’ve been under 75kg for 3,5 years after 17 years of being ‘the fat one’. Aaaaand I’m still good at the duckface ๐Ÿ˜‚ _ It IS a struggle and it IS tough but you’ll never reach your goals if you keep giving up. I had to start at one point as well. My secret is just to have had enough. You just have to want it enough and be ready for a total lifestyle changes that’s gonna stick around forever. _ #motivational

TUMMY TUCK ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ I’ve never showed a picture of my old stomach – I HATED my old look! I felt terrible and it killed me mentally… Because of the mental harm it caused and some other qualifications the hospital paid for my operation – I’m so blessed! I’m 20 years I can’t afford operations that expensive ๐Ÿ˜ณ It doesn’t look that bad in the picture tho, but irl it was terrible! I’ve worked my ASS of at the gym to get the body I have today + dieting right! After I had my tummy tuck I was literally skin, bones and a tiny bit of muscle mass.. My weight said 57 kg/125 lbs (ish) and I’m 176/5’9 ๐Ÿ˜ฌ But then I started bulking! And I had my workout program made by @frederiklundberg – and DAAAMN!
