Of het nu in de club is, op een huisfeestje of tijdens pre-drinks: shotjes maken alles leuker. Ook maken ze iedereen wat losser, thanks to the alcohol . Toch komen onderhand de Drophot, Tequilla en Sourz onze neus wel uit, dus is het tijd voor iets nieuws.

Originele shotjes

Misschien maakte je in een hele dolle bui thuis weleens een ‘appeltaartje’ ( Licor 43 + appelsap) of trok je een fles Rocketshot open, maar meer komt er niet van. Het is inmiddels 2019 en het is tijd om onze shotkunsten naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

De recepten zijn niet moeilijk, je hebt alleen iets andere ingrediënten nodig dan normaal. Denk aan shots met suikerspin en Rose Lemonade. Het maken van deze shots is de ideale partytrick om iedereen in de feeststemming te krijgen.

1. Green Tea Shot

If you are a person who believes in taking the new year’s party to another day too, green tea shot is certainly your cup of tea. But don’t fall for the saying because green tea shot is not even remotely close to green tea. It is a dazzling combination of Jameson Irish whiskey and sour mix with some sprite and peach schnapps. Believe us, it tastes and looks way cooler than it sounds! Here’s a simple way to make it and be the chosen bar chef you’ve always wanted to be! Ingredients 0.5 oz Jameson Irish whiskey 0.5 oz Peach schnapps Sprite (a dash) 0.5 oz sour mix Servings: 1 glass Prep Time: 5 minutes Method Step 1: Add 0.5 ounces of Jameson Irish whiskey to a shaker. Step 2: Add 0.5 ounces of peach schnapps and a dash of Sprite to the shaker. Step 3: Add 0.5 ounces of sour mix. Shake thoroughly and pour into a glass! Step 4: To make a perfect green tea shot, there should only be about 1 ounce of alcohol, half of that being a 40% alcohol content, the other half being 15-20% alcohol. This recipe makes only one shot; double the ingredients to prepare this for two shots. Also, if you were hoping to learn about a true-to-its-name green tea shot, simply use a half teaspoon of green tea extract powder and mix it into 2 ounces of water. Shake it up thoroughly and then drink it down, which should give you a healthy boost, although the taste might not be the most pleasant thing you’ve ever experienced! . . . P.S. Mega makkelijk én heel mooi. De Pink Starburst is prefect voor een vriendinnenavondje. Pas wel op met deze, want de combinatie van deze twee alcoholhoudende dranken hakt er snel in.

– 1/3 Whiskey
– 2/3 Cream Soda
– Slagroom
– Kaneel

Dit is het originele alternatief op het bekende appeltaartje, speciaal voor de slagroomliefhebbers onder ons. Geen fan van whiskey? Dan maak je deze met een likeur die je lekker vindt.

5. Paradise Shot

– Klein laagje grenadine siroop
– 1/2 Malibu
– 1/2 perziksap

Mocht je opzoek zijn naar een shot met drie aparte laagjes, dan is deze voor jou. Een tip is om een theelepeltje in het glas te houden en daar de drank op te gieten. Zo valt de vloeistof geleidelijk in het glaasje en ontstaan die aparte laagjes.

6. Cotton Candy Shot

– 1/3 Blue Curacao
– 1/3 Yoghurt likeur
– Suikerspin

Dit is onze favoriet uit het rijtje. Wanneer je het drankje shot, smelt de suikerspin in je mond. Het knettert zelfs een beetje wat natuurlijk al helemaal lachen is (vooral als je een beetje aangeschoten bent).

7. Melon Ball

– 1/2 Watermeloen likeur
– 1/4 Vodka
– 1/4 Anannassap

8. Rose Shot

De Rose Lemonade van Fentimans is absoluut een van onze lievelingsdrankjes in de zomer, samen met een Gin Tonic. Deze shot met Rose Lemonade en Gin is dus het beste van beide.
